Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026These terms govern the use of the Uppyverse platform. The platform is operated by [PENDING: company name, tax ID and registered address of the controller]. By using our services, you accept these conditions in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
1. Service description
Uppyverse is a digital platform that connects families with verified professionals (psychology, speech therapy, occupational therapy). In these terms, each verified professional is referred to as a “Guide”. We do not provide therapy directly; we facilitate contact, coordination and payment between the parties.
2. Who can use Uppyverse
You must be of legal age or the child’s parent or legal guardian to register. You agree to provide truthful information. Uppyverse reserves the right to suspend accounts with false or fraudulent data.
3. Professional verification
Before a professional appears in search results, we review their documents: identity, registration number and tax details. If everything is in order, we grant them “verified” status. Verification is based on documents. However, the therapeutic relationship is established directly between the family and the professional. Uppyverse acts as an intermediary, not as an employer or supervisor of the clinical work.
4. Sessions and payments
Creating a profile is free. The 15-minute introduction video call with the professional is free for the family. Sessions are paid, and the final price is shown before you book. Payment terms and the platform fee will be shared before launch.
Online sessions may be available with some professionals; conditions are agreed directly between the parties.
5. Cancellations
Cancellation terms will be shown before you book each session.
6. Responsibilities
Uppyverse is responsible for the proper functioning of the platform, for handling payments through its payment provider and for the document verification of professionals described in section 3.
Each Guide is professionally responsible for the therapeutic content, methodology and clinical decisions during sessions.
The family is responsible for providing accurate information about the child’s needs and for maintaining a safe environment during in-home sessions.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Uppyverse website (texts, images, logos, code) is protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, distribute or modify it without express authorisation.
8. Modifications
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or legislation. We will notify significant changes at least 15 days in advance via email or a notice on the platform.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
